Speech Pathology

Mobile Speech Therapy

What is speech pathology?

Speech Pathology is the study, diagnoses and treatment of communication disorders including but not limited to difficulties with speaking, listening, understanding language, reading, writing, social skills and stuttering.

Difficulty with communication can be due to developmental delays, stroke, brain injuries, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities and dementia as well as many other problems that can affect language and speech. Difficulty swallowing food and drink safely can also be helped by treatment of a Speech Pathologist.
